Investment brokers use to accept open listing as the standard way to sell property. Most commercial investment real estate professionals no longer do this. A broker representing a buyer works the buyer like an open listing. The buyer does not have to stay with the broker. Brokers can fix this by employing buyers brokerage agreements, in which the buyer agrees to use the broker exclusively. Buyers brokerage benefits both the broker and client.

Buy Local in York County
The York County Regional Chamber of Commerce is working to make shopping locally a habit. May 26 is the York County Buy Local Day. Shopping locally makes economic sense because 45% of every dollar spent is put back into York County. Shopping locally is helping retailers and helping the local economy. This only makes York County stronger.

York County Businesses
How will York County Businesses take a slice of the Democratic National Convention pie? York County will see hotel rooms filled. York County restaurants, convenience stores, and gas stations should see an increase in business. Some are predicting a 10 to 15 percent increase in sales. Committee members were impressed with York County's efforts to get involved in the action. York County businesses are part of a vendors database that the DNC committee will use to fulfill needs. Businesses need to know their competitors and how to work together. Hopefully the vendor list for York County will be able to be used in the future when large events come to Charlotte.
