Tax breaks will now be given to renovations to buildings in South Carolina including York County. A 25% state income tax credit will be given to businesses investing at least $500,000 in buildings that have been empty for at least 5 years. This will be a great incentive for economic development in urban and rural areas. This also means more jobs in and around York County. By removing abandoned properties it will make communities in York County more attractive.
